A little bit about us ....!

Ethical Care Resources (ECR) primary business started in 2002 as a specialist supplier of temporary to permanent social care staff to Local Authorities and the private sector. Over the last 5 years ECR has increasingly provided direct services to a range of client groups. In 2008, ECR registered with the Care Quality Commission and is registered to provide personal care services.

ECR is a not for profit organisation with qualified social work managers responsible for the range of services provided to children, adults, older people, service users with mental health issues, service users with disability and learning disabilities in their own home, residential settings or in other relevant accommodation. As well as providing our own services we continue to support partner organisations by providing staff to other service providers as well.

Under the personalisation agenda, we provide a range of direct services that are funded through budgets such as Direct Payment and Personal Budgets. We carry out our own CQC compliant assessments, risk assessments, produce support plans and carry out reviews. We also offer brokering facilities and personal assistants where self-directed support is being considered.

Our person centred work includes supportive work in people’s homes, day centres, educational establishment or residential settings. We provide support to people to live independently and successfully manage their tenancies, take part in community activities, support with budgeting/shopping, help with domestic chores and practical support and care where required. We have a diverse and multi skilled, flexible staff team and can ensure the best person for each referral is appointed!

As well as providing direct care and support to service users, Ethical Care Resources has provided a range of social care and support services including providing staff to other health and social care providers, Health Authorities and Local Authorities.
